2.14 Stock Footage and Audio

To create content faster and to help you supplement your own footage we integrated 3 external stock footage libraries that provide you with music and videos directly in Flixier. Additionally we added another library of stock music that can be used in your videos. All stock libraries added in Flixier are free to use in any of your videos. (Update: a couple of users have reported that some audio files are getting a claim from YouTube, for now please use them with caution and contact us if that happens)

How to use stock Footage?

To access stock footage like images and videos you need to click on the "Stock" button in the library (left side of the screen). From here you will be able to change between three libraries by clicking on the drop-down arrow at the top of the library.

You can choose from:

  1. Pixabay - video and images
  2. Pexeles - video and images
  3. Unsplash - images

Under the library change drop-down you can search for your desired media, filter it between video and images. If you click on a file you can see a preview on the right side of the screen. When you found something you like just drag and drop it on the timeline to use it in your project.

How to use stock audio?

To access stock audio you need to click on the "Audio" button in the library (left side of the screen). At the top of the library panel you can search for your desired music.

When you found the desired media just drag and drop it on the timeline to use it in your project.
