How to use our news video templates
Step 1: Choose your template.
Now you are ready to make changes to the template. If you want to add your own videos or images just click the blue Import button to add them to the Flixier library. Next you can right click on a video in the preview window, select Replace Media and just drag over your own video. To make adjustments to the text, click on it and then make changes on the right side of the screen.

When happy with the result all you need to do is press the Export button, your video will be processed and saved and you can download it to your computer or publish directly to social media accounts.

What’s more, our templates can also be modified and saved for later. Let’s say you want to add another text box or an animated call to action, you can do this easily by dragging and dropping from our library on the video preview or the timeline. Next you can click the arrow near the Save button at the top left of the screen and select Save As, this will save the project as a duplicate and you can keep on re-using it as your very own template.
Enhance your videos with stock footage
Coming up with high quality video footage is always a struggle, this is why we integrated millions of stock footage assets from our partners directly into Flixier. All you need to do is go to the Stock footage section, search for the right file and drag and drop it on the video preview or timeline. If you are not happy with the media you chose just delete it and select another one.
Publish news videos on any platform
Our online video editor is fully compatible with all social media platforms. You can choose to change the aspect ratio or resolution of a video with just a few clicks and the video will resize to fit with a different social media channel. Choose between wide, tall or square or make your own resolution if you have specific requirements.
