To split a video online with Flixier first you need to import your media files. You can do it by uploading from your computer or by importing directly from cloud storage services or even from tools like Twitch, YouTube or Zoom. The direct integrations are super helpful because you are importing the videos directly saving a lot of time.

The next step is to actually split an AVI file. Simply position the yellow line, called playhead, where you want to make the split and press the “Cut” button or “S” on your keyboard. Your video is split in two parts in real-time and you can repeat this process and make as many cuts as you would like.

Now that you split the AVI video you can continue making edits by adding new clips to it or removing parts of the video you don’t like. If you want to publish just one part of the video just delete the ones you don’t need by clicking on them and pressing “Delete”. Now press the Export button and your video will be ready in just a couple of minutes. You can post it on social media or download it locally to your device.
