Making videos loop and repeat can be done for many reasons. You can choose to make a video repeat over and over for comedic effect, or you can make them loop in order to display them on a big screen without the risk of having your media player interface pop up whenever the video starts again. Flixier is great for looping MP4 files since it provides an easy, fast way to make them repeat and also gives you the tools you need to crop or trim the clips in order to get that perfect loop. It’s also browser based, meaning you don’t have to install or download anything in order to use it and it runs well on any computer regardless of operating system or specifications.
1. Upload your videos to Flixier
Before you can make your video loop, you need to create a free Flixier account and drag the video over to your Library on the right side of the screen. Remember that you can also click the blue Import button to bring videos over from cloud storage, Twitch or even YouTube.
2. Start looping your video
Drag your video from the Library over to the Timeline at the bottom of the screen. Trim it by dragging on the sides of it, crop it by using the menu on the right or apply filters to it, and then select it, press Ctrl + C to copy it and paste it in the Timeline as many times as you want your video to loop.
3. Export your looped MP4
After you’ve made all of your loops, click the Export button in the top right corner and your video will be processed and available for you to download or publish on YouTube in Vimeo in 3 minutes or less.
