How do you animate text in a GIF?

Upload
Click on Start Editing to open Flixier in your web browser. If you want to add your animated text over an existing GIF, drag it over to the Import menu. If you just want to save the text as a GIF, close the Import menu and move on to the next step.

Create animated text
Open the Text tab on the left side of the screen to add your text. You can pick from the text presets available, or choose the Regular Text option. You can customize the way your text looks from the right-side menu. This is also where you can animate your text. You can open the Animation menu to choose one of our many presets, or use the Transitions tab if you want to animate your text using one of our special text transitions.

Save your animated text GIF
When you’re happy with the way your GIF looks, click the Export button in the top right corner of the screen. Make sure to select GIF as your format and then click on Export and Download to save your animated text GIF to your computer.
