You can even upload your video along with the subtitle to preview how the new subtitle cells will look when overlaid on the clip.

How to convert VTT to SRT?

Upload your VTT

Click on Get Started to open Flixier. Open the Subtitle tab on the left side of the screen and then choose the Upload Subtitle option. Select the VTT file on your computer and click on Open.

Edit

Once your subtitle has been uploaded, you can start editing its contents from the subtitle menu. You’re free to type in new text, adjust the timings, or automatically translate the subtitle to new languages using the Translate menu on the right side of the screen.

Convert & Save

Click on your subtitle on the timeline, then choose the Subtitle tab in the right side menu. Under Download Text or Subtitle, choose SRT as your format from the dropdown menu and then click the download menu to the right of the list.
