How does the AI video generator work?
Describe the video you want, add reference media, and Flixier generates a clip from your prompt. From there, place it on the timeline, edit it, and combine it with other clips or your own footage.
Can I generate a video from a blog post or script?
Yes. Start from a full script, blog post, product brief, or lesson plan instead of writing a prompt from scratch, and generate an explainer, tutorial, or ad from it directly.
How long can a generated video be?
The length limit of each individual clip depends on the AI model you use to generate it. For example, Veo 3 allows you to create up to 8s of video from one prompt, while Kling 2.6 Pro goes up to 10s. However, Flixier allows you to combine multiple AI clips together seamlessly to create longer videos without a set length limit. Each plan comes with a monthly AI credit allowance that determines how much you can generate and export overall, so your total output depends on your plan rather than a per-clip cap. Different AI generation models also consume different amounts of credits, so make sure you consult the in-app info first.
Can I edit the video after it is generated?
Yes. Every generated clip lands on Flixier's timeline, where you can trim it, add captions or voiceover, replace scenes, and edit it the same way as any other footage.
