You can quickly toggle between TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts safe zones or display them all at the same time to make it easier to design content for all the platforms. If your video is in landscape format, Flixier will give you the option to overlay regular YouTube subtitle safe zones for desktop videos.
Start by logging into your Flixier account and creating a new project. If you don’t have an account, you can just click on Get Started to open the app in your web browser. Then, click on the empty space next to the video canvas and select a vertical aspect ratio (like 9:16 aka 1080 x 1920) from the menu on the right side of the screen.
Go to the Show Video Safe Zones option and click the little YouTube icon to toggle the YouTube shorts safe zones on. If you want to, you can also click the All button to display safe zones for other vertical video platforms like TikTok or Instagram Reels. Afterwards, you can bring videos over from your computer (or click the Import button to add them from online sources) and start putting your video together.
When you’re done creating your video, click on the Export button in the top right corner of the screen. Select Video from the dropdown list and then click on Export and Download. Your video will be processed and saved to your computer in a few minutes. If you have a Flixier account, you can also publish your video straight to your YouTube channel without having to download it first.

I’ve been looking for a solution like Flixier for years. Now that my virtual team and I can edit projects together on the cloud with Flixier, it tripled my company’s video output! Super easy to use and unbelievably quick exports.
My main criteria for an editor was that the interface is familiar and most importantly that the renders were in the cloud and super fast. Flixier more than delivered in both. I've now been using it daily to edit Facebook videos for my 1M follower page.
I'm so relieved I found Flixier. I have a YouTube channel with over 700k subscribers and Flixier allows me to collaborate seamlessly with my team, they can work from any device at any time plus, renders are cloud powered and super super fast on any computer.
