For this start of the year we have a significant update to share. 

Within Flixier you can now translate videos to over 70 languages. You can Import, Create or Auto Generate subtitles with Flixier and then you can translate them to another language with a button click. Check out the video below to see it in action. 

IMPROVEMENT Download Subtitles without Timestamps

You can now download Subtitles without any timestamps which allows you use video transcriptions from video in many new ways. 

Translated subtitles can also be downloaded without any timestamps. 

NEW Import Webex meeting recordings in no time 🎉🥳🎊

We strongly believe that cloud integrations with other products help you import media faster and ultimately save time for what matters, being creative. This is why we partnered with Webex to let you import meeting recordings directly from your Webex account. 

IMPROVEMENT Subtitle editing auto scroll 😎 

This new feature automatically scrolls the subtitle editing panel to wherever you are in the video. You no longer need to scroll through a massive list just to find your spot in the video that you want to edit.

It's now faster for every new user to experience the power of Flixier. We made adding an email optional, this means that new users can just access our editor in just a click. 

Improvement  Faster logins

Forget about forgetting passwords, in case you decided to still create an account you can now login into Flixier just by using your email. This functionality is only available for new users for now. 

Improvement Export video as GIF

Send videos in emails, add them to your website without needing a video player or just share funny stuff on the internet. Now you can do all that by saving videos as GIFs directly from Flixier. 

IMPROVEMENT TikTok Integration

Skip over time consuming downloads and uploads. Import videos and edit them directly from TikTok or just publish a video from Flixier straight to TikTok. 

BUG FIX Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue affecting some direct URL imports
• Fixed an issue where you couldn’t update your company details in the Dashboard

YouTube Import updates

Some of you experienced major YouTube Import issues, we apologize for that. We now re-wrote the entire YouTube Import system to be much cleaner and less error prone. 

Security Updates

• To increase the security of your account you can now set Two Factor authentication from the Account Settings section of the Dashboard. 
• We made it easier for users with a Google or Facebook login to set a password for their account from the Dashboard. 

IMPROVEMENT Timeline Zoom accessibility

Timeline Zoom was hidden away for those of you that like to keep Tracks Settings closed to have some more space. We now added the timeline zoom slider at the top right of the timeline and made it always visible. 

IMPROVEMENT Project Settings

Project settings are always visible when no media file is selected. This makes it much faster to change the size or the background colour of a video. 

New Download subtitles and more subtitle formats supported

Introduced a new feature that allows you to download a subtitle generated in Flixier. This is extremely useful if you want to use it later as a YouTube description, send it to colleagues as a resume or just to document your video. On top of that we also improved our import feature which now supports way more subtitle formats. 

New Compress your files to a smaller size

Thanks for reading till the end, we are so happy to share this news with you! So many of you told us that you are struggling with large video files when sharing or storing them. Well, we listened and launched a brand new tool in Flixier that lets you compress those files as much as you want.

New ways to get help

A lot of you told us that the chat bubble is interfering with the timeline while editing, because of that we decided to move it in the Help menu, an easy place to find it and a place where it won’t interrupt your editing flow.

Generate subtitles for your videos in a few clicks 🎉😍🥳

This is one of our most exciting updates since we launched Flixier. Now you can select a clip on the timeline and on the right side of the screen click generate subtitles. We will process your video and a new track with an automatically created subtitle will be added to your project. 

This subtitle will behave exactly like any manually created ones, you can make changes to the text, timings, fonts and colours. 

Improvements

Blur and keyframes - added the possibility to move a blur shape around using keyframes. Tracking cars and faces has just became way simpler.

Timeline Trim and Fit

Now, if you try to add a clip on the timeline between two other clips and there isn't enough space a message will ask if you want Trim that clip to Fit in the space. 

Timeline Insert and Push

In the same situation, if you don't have enough space to place a clip between two other videos you now have the option to push all clips to the right to make more space. Just select Insert and Push 

Review Comments Order

You can now change the order of your Review Link Comments based on the Time location they appear on the timeline. Just click on the Order selection button and select Timestamp.
