Can you edit a video after posting it on Facebook?
No. Facebook doesn't let you re-edit a video once it's posted. You'll need to remove the original post and upload a new, edited version instead.
What size should a Facebook video be?
Feed videos work best at 1:1 or 16:9. Reels and Stories use a vertical 9:16 frame at 1080x1920, and your cover video should match your Page's cover photo dimensions.
How long can a Facebook Reel be?
Facebook Reels can run up to 3 minutes (180 seconds), though some accounts may still see a 90-second limit depending on the rollout. Either way, shorter videos tend to perform better, so it's worth trimming down rather than maxing out the runtime.
Do I need captions on a Facebook video?
Not required, but strongly recommended. Facebook autoplays video muted, so without captions, most viewers scrolling past won't hear your audio at all.
