AI Free Thumbnail Maker - Text to Thumbnail

Yes! Social media has already been flooded with AI-generated art in various forms. Just ensure that you’re not copyright-infringing any existing work. From a legal point of view, AI is still a bit in the grey area.

Click the Get Started button to open the Flixier editor, navigate to the AI Tools menu, and choose AI Image Generator. From there, write out a description of the elements, characters, colors, and visuals you want to be included in your thumbnail. Tweak, add text, maybe some additional graphics or logos, if you prefer, for a personal touch. Right-click on the canvas and select Export Current Frame to download your AI-generated thumbnail.

Of course! YouTube allows AI content as long as it follows its community guidelines. Your AI thumbnail is safe as long as it doesn't contain something inappropriate. If you plan to use AI-generated images in your videos, you must disclose this and add the "altered or synthetic content" label.

Describe, describe, describe. The more specific you can be about what you want on your thumbnail, the closer the AI will get to your desired result. Try to refine your prompt, as saying “make it eye-catching” might not be specific enough. Instead, mention elements you would like to include, such as particular colors, characters, or backgrounds. You can easily add elements like your own photos or shapes, and apply text overlays with Flixier's editor.

Flixier’s AI Image Generator uses models trained on millions of images to interpret your text and generate visuals. This means you get fast, relevant results based on your input, perfect for speeding up content creation without having to do any tool-hopping.

High-performing thumbnails usually feature strong contrast, expressive faces, clear focal points, and short, readable text that's easy to understand at a glance.
