Fade audio in and out easily

Flixier’s online music cutter allows you to add fades to an audio track easily. Just drag your song down to the timeline, select it, and click the Add Fade In or Add Fade Out buttons on the right side of the screen to add a fade. You can drag on the blue handles in the timeline to adjust the duration of a fade easily.

How do you use the Flixier audio cutter?

Open and upload

Click on Get Started to open Flixier in your web browser. Then, drag the song you want to cut from your computer over to the Import window. You can also bring songs and other audio over from any of the cloud storage platforms listed on screen, or by copying and pasting a link.

Cut your audio

To cut your audio, you first need to drag it from your library down to the timeline at the bottom of the screen. Then, move the playhead to the right spot and click the Cut button or press S on your keyboard to make a cut. You can right click on any of the resulting track sequences to delete them or move them around. You can also trim an audio clip by dragging on its beginning or end in the timeline.

Save your cut audio

When you’re done cutting your audio track, press the Export button in the top right corner of the screen. Under the Save As drop-down menu, make sure to select Audio. Your audio will be processed in a couple of seconds and then saved to your computer as an MP3 file.
