Converting to .MP4, MP3, GIF

Flixier automatically converts video files to the MP4 format and audio files to the MP3 format upon export. This automated conversion ensures compatibility across devices, ease of use, and seamless editing within the platform.

When exporting a project, there are three primary format options: VideoAudio, and GIF.

Export Options

  • Video (.MP4): Generates a video file that contains audio. This format is ideal for sharing videos on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, and Facebook.
  • GIF (.GIF): Generates an animated, looping image without audio. When selecting GIF, the export menu provides options to set the GIF Frame Rate to 25 fps, 20 fps, or 10 fps. GIFs are commonly used for web graphics and social media memes, though they can be an average of 5 to 10 times larger than an efficiently encoded MP4 video.
  • Audio (.MP3): Exports the project strictly as an MP3 audio file. This small file size is excellent for easy streaming and distribution over the internet without technical difficulties.
