Motion tracking

With motion tracking, you can pin text, stickers, and shapes to moving objects in a video to highlight movement, blur people’s faces, censor parts of a video, and create an overall engaging video.

How to use motion tracking

  1. Import a video and drag it to your timeline.
  2. Select the video, go to the Properties Menu on the right side of the screen on the Video tab, and you’ll see the Motion tracking feature.
  3. Choose the tracking type depending on the subject.
  4. Click on “Analyze video” and wait for the process to end.
  5. After the video has been analyzed, you can select an object to link: a blur mask, pixelate mask, or basic text.
  6. Once you have selected the object, click on ”Link”, and the object should appear in your preview canvas and the timeline with automatic keyframes already made by the motion tracking.
