Screen Recorder

With Flixier's Screen Recorder quick tool, you can effortlessly capture your screen and create high-quality recordings of your activities!

Head over to the Quick Tools section of your main dashboard in Flixier and click on the Screen Recorder tool. Now, you just need to select the desired layout!

STEPS

‍

Record your Webcam

‍

1. Select the webcam layout.
2. A preview with your webcam will open.
3. With the Settings button that’s found in the left corner of your preview screen, you can select your webcam and audio input device.
4. With the camera button found on the middle left of your preview, you can take a photo of your current webcam preview.
5. If you press the record button found on the middle right of your preview, the recording will start after three seconds. You can also minimize your webcam preview.
6. After you’re done, press the end button in the middle of your preview and you will have the options to repeat the recording or save it.

Record your Screen

1. Select the screen layout.
2. A pop-up menu will appear where you can choose what to exactly record: A browser tab, browser window or an entire screen. Select one of them and click on Share.
3. A preview with your screen will open.
4. With the Settings button that’s found in the left corner of your preview screen, you can change your visible screen area and audio input device.
5. If you press the record button, the recording will start after three seconds. 
6. To end your recording, click on the end button on the top right corner of your screen.
7. You will now have the options to repeat the recording or save it.

Record your Audio

‍

1. Select the audio layout.
2. With the Settings button that’s found in the left corner of your preview screen, you can select your audio input device.
3. If you press the record button in the middle of your preview screen, the recording will start after three seconds. 
4. After you’re done, press the end button and you will have the options to repeat the recording or save it.

Record a Split Screen, Webcam Insert Left / Right

1. Select the splitscreen layout or the Webcam Insert Left or Right layouts. 
2. A pop-up menu will appear where you can choose what to exactly record: A browser tab, browser window or an entire screen. Select one of them and click on Share.
3. A preview with a splitscreen containing your screen and webcam will open.
4. With the Settings button  that’s found in the left corner of your preview screen, you can change your visible screen area, audio input device and webcam device. 
5. After you’re done, press the end button and you will have the options to repeat the recording or save it.
