The AI Actions menu provides tools to automate common editing tasks.
You can access it from the top right of the transcript panel, and you can select from those actions:

  1. Remove filler words, which automatically removes common filler words (for example: “um”, “uh”, “ah”). You can review the detected words and choose which ones to keep or delete.
  2. Remove silences, which automatically cuts long pauses in speech. You can also use the slider to set a minimum pause duration. The editor will also display how much silence is being removed.
  3. Generate AI B-roll, using this action, the AI will analyze your transcript, identify context, and insert suitable stock media or AI-generated images. You can replace or delete this media at any time.
  4. Auto Rough Cut, with this action, Flixier can automatically trim the video by removing filler words, pauses, and repeated phrases. You can use the slider to adjust how aggressive the cuts should be, and you can restore any removed content afterward.

Adding Sound Effects and Text Hooks

To add emphasis or highlights in your video:

  1. Select part of the transcript.
  2. Click Add Media.
  3. Choose either AI Sound Hook or AI Text Hook.
  4. The tool will generate a sound effect or caption at that timestamp.
  5. Afterwards, you can adjust volume and panning from the Properties panel or edit the text style, animation, and presets as needed.

Please note that all transcript-based edits are reflected on the timeline automatically. You can continue refining your video on the timeline using standard editing tools.
