Generate Sounds 

Create a custom sound effect from any text prompt to perfectly enhance your video content.

Step 1: Open the Generate Sounds Tool You can access this feature from two different places:

• From the Dashboard: Go to the All Tools menu on the left side of your screen and click on the Generate Sounds tile under the "For audio" section.
• From the Editor: Open an active project, click the Generate tab on the left-side menu, and select Generate Sounds from the tools list.

Step 2: Describe Your Sound

• Type a detailed description of the audio you want to create into the prompt box (for example, "the sound of a wolf howling").
• If you need inspiration, you can click on one of the provided example chips: Retro video games, Sci-fi sounds, Horror sounds, Dramatic buildup, or Comedy sounds.

Step 3: Generate the Audio

Once your description is ready, click the pink Generate button. (Note: Generating a sound consumes 50 AI credits per use).

Step 4: Preview and Use Your Sound What happens next depends on where you launched the tool:

• If starting from the Dashboard: The screen will update to show a Preview player where you can listen to the generated effect. You can then click Open in Editor to start a new project with this sound, or click Download to save it directly to your computer.
• If starting from the Editor: Your new audio will appear in the "Generated Sounds" panel on the left. Click the play icon on the blue waveform to preview it. If you like it, click the blue Add to Timeline button to drop it into your project's Sound Effect Track. If you want a different result, click the Generate More Variants button.

Tip: Any sounds you generate are automatically saved to your Flixier media library, so you can easily access them for future projects.
