AI Generative Workspace
We added more than 20 different AI video and image generation models to Flixier. This includes the latest top-of-the-line models like Nano Banana Pro, Veo 3.1, Wan, and Kling. To help you easily experiment with and compare results across all these options, we developed a new workflow for generating AI videos and images.
Accessing the Workspace
- From your main Home dashboard, click the Generate button located at the top center of your screen.
- This opens the full-screen Generate with AI workspace, which is organized into two primary navigation tabs at the top left: Explore and History.
- The floating generation control bar docks at the bottom of your screen and remains accessible at all times, allowing you to draft new media on the fly.
- To exit the workspace at any time, click the <- Back to Dashboard link in the upper left corner.
The Explore Tab
The Explore tab serves as a curated discovery hub designed to provide visual inspiration.
- Browse a dynamic grid of community and staff examples to see what different AI engines can achieve.
- Use the Search images and videos bar to filter sample creations by specific themes, visual styles, or subjects.
- Click on any of the examples here to reveal the exact prompt and reference photos used to create it.
- Feel free to copy the prompt directly or tweak it to fit your own project needs.
- If you find an example you love, you can click Import in Editor to add the generated example directly to one of your projects.
The History Tab
The History tab helps you keep track of all the AI images and videos you have previously generated.
- You can use the search bar at the top of the tab to easily locate past work.
- Your past generations are listed alongside their accompanying prompts, chosen models, and specific aspect ratio settings for easy reference.
- You can quickly add any previously generated media to one of your active Flixier projects.
- If you want to try a past generation again, you can easily tweak the original prompt and take another shot.
- The History tab allows you to seamlessly turn previously generated images into new videos.
- You can also use your older generated images as reference start frames for the newer video models.
Comparing Multi-Model Capabilities
Click the AI model button on the far left of the floating control bar to switch between supported generation engines.
- Video Models: Select engines like Veo 3.1, Kling, or Wan to generate short animated clips. Each model handles movement, camera physics, and prompt instructions differently, allowing you to compare outputs and select the best take for your project.
- Image Models: Select engines like FLUX 1.1 Pro or Nano Banana Pro for rapid concept drafting and character consistency.
Credit Transparency
Keep an eye on the diamond credit icon displayed next to each model name in the dropdown list, as well as on the right side of the floating bar. This ensures you always know the exact credit cost of your selected engine before pressing the Generate button.
