How to Use the Sidebar

The main sidebar, located on the far-left side of your Flixier editor, is your primary navigation hub. It contains all the tools and assets you need to build, enhance, and edit your video projects.

Clicking any icon on the sidebar will open its dedicated menu panel right next to it. Here is a brief breakdown of what you can do in each section:

• My Library: This is your personal cloud storage hub. Use this tab to import media, organize your files into folders, and manage all the videos, images, and audio tracks you have uploaded.
• Generate: Access Flixier's built-in AI creation tools. This section allows you to generate new assets from scratch without leaving the editor.
• Assistant: Open Flixier's AI editing assistant to help streamline your workflow, answer questions, or guide you through the editing process.
• Stock: Browse and import high-quality, royalty-free assets. This tab includes ready-to-use wallpapers, textures, music tracks, and stock video footage.
• Text: Add text to your video. You can choose from basic text layers, animated titles, or pre-formatted lower thirds.
• Elements: Enhance your video with visual add-ons. This menu houses shapes, stickers, icons, drawing tools, motion titles, motion presets, and functional masks like the Blur and Pixelate effects.
• Subtitles: Generate automatic captions for your video, manually type out subtitles line by line, or upload an existing subtitle file.
• Transitions: Smooth out the cuts between your clips. Browse and drag various transition animations directly between the media files on your timeline.
• Filters: Apply color grades and visual effects to your footage to change its mood. You can choose from Portrait, Cinematic, and Creative presets, or use the AI Color Match tool.
• Transcript: Use the AI Text Editor to automatically transcribe your video track. You can then cut out unwanted parts of your video simply by deleting the transcribed text.
• Brand Kit: Maintain visual consistency across your content by uploading and storing your custom brand logos, brand colors, specific fonts, text or subtitle presets, and brand backgrounds.
• AI Shortcuts: Quickly access automated AI editing workflows to speed up your video creation process. This menu includes fast links to tools like Add AI Voiceover, Video GPT, Add Captions, Edit by Transcript, Generate Sounds, Generate Thumbnail, Generate Image, and Enhance Audio.
