Brand Kit

Flixier's Brand Kit feature lets you store your team's unique logos, color palettes, custom fonts, background images, and custom-styled text or subtitle presets all in one centralized location.

Accessing your Brand Kit

To find the Brand Kit, open any active project in the Flixier editor. Look at the left-side vertical navigation bar. The Brand Kit icon is located directly underneath the Filters tab.

Setting Up Your Core Assets

You can build out your baseline brand identity by saving your primary visual components directly to the panel:

  • Logos: Click the upload area inside the Logos section to add your brand’s watermarks, icons, or main logos (.png files with transparent backgrounds work best). Once uploaded, you can drag them directly onto your video timeline.
  • Colors: Click the plus (+) icon to add color swatches. Use the color picker or paste specific HEX codes to create your custom brand palette. These swatches will remain instantly accessible whenever you want to change background colors, shape fills, or text elements.
  • Fonts: Click the upload section under Fonts to add your brand's unique typography files (.ttf or .otf formats). Your custom fonts will show up right alongside Flixier's built-in font library.
  • Backgrounds: Upload frequently used brand background images. To apply them, open your canvas settings, click on the background color option, select the Images tab, and choose your asset.

Saving Text and Subtitle Presets

With Flixier’s Brand Kit you can create dynamic presets so you don't have to redesign your graphic overlays or closed captions from scratch with every new video project.

Custom Text Presets

  1. Add a standard text element to your timeline.
  2. Use the Object Inspector menu on the right side of the screen to format your ideal style (font weight, size, color overlays, background shadows, or static position).
  3. Once perfected, click the Add to Brand Kit button at the bottom of the styling panel on the right handside.
  4. Name your text preset. It will now live under your Brand Kit menu for one-click deployment in any future video.

Custom Subtitle Presets

  1. Generate your subtitles using manual entry or Flixier's Auto-Subtitle transcription tool.
  2. Select your subtitles on the timeline, switch to the Style tab in the inspector panel on the right, and customize the layout (like active word highlights or text shadows).
  3. Click Add to Brand Kit and name your design.
  4. You can now apply this preset layout globally to any auto-generated or manual subtitle file in the future.

Note: If you delete the timeline element entirely and drag a fresh text preset in from the Brand Kit menu, its timeline duration settings will reset completely back to the default timing state.
